Today the Fundación para Apoyo al Detenido (Foundation for Support to The Detained) requested information from the General Director's office of the Penal System, addressing the request to Dr. José Calderón on two subjects:
1. The Foundation's Legal Standing.
2. Entry permits into jails.
On the subject, Dr. Calderon's secretary, María del Rosario, evaded the subject and told us there was nothing else concrete. That we had to wait until the Legal Affairs Office finished analizing the answer about the Legal Standing, and concerning the Jail Entry Permits, they were analyzing it. Logically, the "beautiful accomplishments" of the system will continue to be the order of the day.
For now we will keep working under cover to help those people who need it.
